I know. I love how the pace of each verse makes you feel like you're under a lot of stress, and then the chorus has the feeling of getting high.

Which version do you like the best?
-Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers
-The Ramones
-Sid Vicious

I personally like the Johnny Thunders version the best, cuz it sounds so "garage-band", but the Ramones version is cool too, cuz Johnny actually plays a second guitar track with some solo action. Phil Spector did a good job getting Johnny to swallow his pride and play lead in a lot of the songs on that album. All the previous "mini solos" (like the one in "I just want something to do") were all played by Tommy Ramone and Ed Stasium.
